  5. Nothing gets done in Spain unless enough palms have been greased, despite economic conditions that still remains the same.

  6. ...the diggers are waiting to move in as soon as the plans are approved by Alhama council...

  7. Well, start to finish it only took 9 months to build the Empire State Building so I suppose we may still be in with half a chance!

  8. Latest news i have read is this, posted the 20 april.
    http://www.tumbit.com/news/articles/7257-paramount-murcia-will-be-open-by-summer-2015.html

"The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, and President of Proyectos Emblemáticos Murcianos SA (Premursa) - the promoter and developer of the theme park - have signed a new agreement to approve the Special Urban Plan to regulate the development of the theme Park.

The signing of last week's new agreement replaces the orginal one signed in December 2011, and was necessary due to the change of footprint of the park which came about following the failure to purchase the required parcels of land.

The new agreement essentially secures the required urban backing for the project, which is continuing on schedule according to the council, and specifies that the project will create a total of 16,500 new jobs aduring the construction phase, and 6,100 new indirect and direct jobs once operational.

These figures clearly have no resemblance to the 15'000 direct and 20'000 indirect positions promised in March 2012.

Despite not being drawn on giving an exact date of when work at the park will commence, Premursa confirmed that the theme park will still be operational in the first half of 2015."

Don´t know if it´s gonna happen but 2015 is soon and still no work in progress?
    Very interesting indeed.

  9. How very apt that one of the first rides is "Mission Impossible"

  10. Sarcasm prevails in Alhama de Murcia
