It's 11:00 on May 31st and I've arrived at the Paramount Theme Park site in Alhama de Murcia to see what's happening. The 1st stone laying ceremony is scheduled for 13:00 - here is a slide show of a few shots taken so far, I'll post a video in a while!

Hi Guys,
Just a quick update to say flags have appeared at the Paramount Theme Park site in anticipation of the first stone laying ceremony on 31st May 2012.
I shall be there to video the events (hopefully)!!
In the meantime, here is a link to a new article (in English) and a photo of the flags. >> http://www.murciatoday.com/paramount-park-flags-are-up_11812-a.html
Hi All,
I visited the Paramount Theme Park site today and took some photographs of what is some signs of recent activity. I noticed some heavy truck tracks and discovered a lot of new concrete boundary markers in the ground. Then several new concrete drain access chambers.
Here is a new boundary marker, there are quite a lot at 50 metre intervals along with some drainage access chambers. I imagine the truck tracks were made when they were putting in the boundary markers.
The bottom 3 images are showing a new Orange Grove, which seems to be the buffer zone between Juanjor (a fruit distributor warehouse) and the beginning of the boundary for the theme park which is the line of trees on the horizon of the bottom 3 photos

Video of the site:
I don't think that the marked area has anything to do with the Paramount Park. As you can see on the Google Maps screenshot, there's an industrial area right next to it. And there is a major road that separates the truck site and the future park site. But who knows, I may be wrong.
