Last week the acting governor of Bali, S.M. Mahendra Jaya, met with the Regent of Jembrana, I Nengah Tamba, and Tito Sulistio, the Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Stock Exchange, to discuss the progress of KBS Park's development plan. The meeting agreed to add a number of clauses to the land use agreement or LUDA (Land Utilization and Development Agreement) between KBS Park investors and the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Kerta Bali Saguna. This is to ensure that the project can proceed according to what was agreed upon and not repeat the failure of Taman Bali Festival, a failed amusement park development in Bali from over twenty years ago.
