Disneyland Paris unveiled last week an aggressive refurbishment plan to its Cast Member during a big 2-days forum.

10 attractions will be completely renovated and "plussed" with new effects before 2017 and the 25th anniversary. Looks like what they did with some original Disneyland attractions, which is pretty exciting :

Space Mountain
Jedi Academy (new show)
It's a small world
Adventure Isle / Robinson Treehouse
Peter Pan's Flight
Big Thunder Mountain
Animagique (new show)
Studio Tram Tour (3 new scenes)
Pirates of the Caribbean
Star Tours (new 3D version for sure)

Their goal is to have the parks look brand new and reliable for the 25th. Looks good to me!

Just wait until Halloween.

It's not a construction site; it is an area used for Halloween Horror Nights.

I was looking at it on Google Earth. I forgot to put that in the first post.

Uhh...Guys? I was looking at Universal Studios Orlando, and I saw a BIG construction site near Men In Black and Simpsons. Any details on what it is and could someone get pics for it? Thanks.

Dubai Eye is rising on JBR. First leg is up and more will be up by end of next week. I will keep an eye on it now and post more photos as it progresses.

"Nintendo signs theme park deal with Universal Studios"

The Mario maker has signed a deal with Universal to feature Mario, Luigi and co. in "immersive experiences" - presumably rides, shows and other attractions.

I can only imagine!

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s unveils new rollercoaster

“There are very few theme parks that have undertaken such a significant expansion as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Its [Flying Aces] design and storyline are deeply rooted in the rich history of Ferrari,” said Jesse Vargas (below), general manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Although Ferrari World already houses the world’s fastest roller coaster, its newest addition is a faster, as well as steeper, steel version.

It features a 51 degree inclined hill and a 52 metre loop, making it the world’s tallest.

I don't think this is Universal Studios Zhuhai, but a new theme park by Time Warner and Dreamworks in Zhuhai is now in construction.

Construction has started on a theme park in Zhuhai in Guangdong province, funded by a US$32 billion joint investment from Time Warner and DreamWorks Studios, reports the website of Shanghai-based China Business News.
