LEGOLAND Beach Retreat – opening mid-2017
This whimsically themed vacation resort combines the fun of surf, sand and sun with the creativity of LEGO® on a picturesque site next to Lake Dexter, adjacent to the theme park. Distinguished by a colorful LEGO lighthouse, the village-style, lakefront resort will feature 83 single-story duplex units, offering 166 separate accommodations that sleep up to five.
This ride is going to be so cool for kids. After learning the "moves" they will ride the dark ride and use simple gestures to "fight" the bad guys using their new ninja skills. Like a shooting ride but with no hardware required for the guest.

New "Harry Potter" Style attraction for Nintendo at Universal Studios Japan could be opening in 2020
Kotaku reports, by way of Sankei news, that Nintendo intends to finalize a roughly $351 million deal on March 11th to fund a themed area located in Universal Studios Japan. Sankei also compared the scope of the Nintendo project to Universal Studios’ Harry Potter attraction “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.”The Sankei story produced a conceptual map disclosing how much space would be dedicated to Nintendo’s area in the theme park. According to Kotaku, the red portion indicates Nintendo’s dedicated area, with green marking the rest of Universal Studios Japan.

At 21 ha Universal Orlando are billing Volcano Bay (the Wet'n'Wild replacement) as their 3rd park and it looks like the construction is well underway.

Seaworld San Diego have applied for planning for a multi-million dollar expansion to accommodate a new "land"
“Ocean Explorer” is scheduled to open in the late spring next year on the southeast side of the theme park. A lot of news pointing to a potential new park for Universal in Florida
475 Acres of land was just purchased north of Universal Boulevard as shown on the map above.
Islands of Adventure is approx. 110 Acres and Universal Studios Florida is approx. 125 acres so there is plenty of room for new attractions, parks, hotels etc.
