In addition to Ferrari Land opening at PortAventura, two major attractions opened at American theme parks in the past week:
On April 7, the new wooden roller coaster "Invadr" opened at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. While in development, Busch Gardens marketed this as the world's first "crowdsourced ride" in which the public voted on the ride's name, logo, etc.
On April 6, Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, a new 3D motion-simulator ride, opened at Universal Studios in Orlando. This is Universal Orlando Resort's first ride with a "virtual queue" in which the guests pick a time frame to enter the ride and while they're waiting they can walk around to browse displays, play games and watch live entertainment.
