Parque Warner | New coaster 2023 (rumor)

In recent years there were rumors of a possible Taron-style Intamin coaster at Phantasialand (Blitz coaster) for Parque Warner, using the old simulator building and passing through various areas of the park.

With the new shareholders of the Parques Reunidos group, this rumor gained more force, but it was still a rumor.

In the last few months, there has been a lot of news.

On 10/18/21, the official document of the agenda of the City Council of San Martín de la Vega (town where the park is located) and in the matters of the call was found: "application for a license or urban authorization - major work license for the implementation of a roller coaster activity in Parque Warner "



With this, the rumor became "official".

Rumors started about where the coaster could go:



They started with marks on the ground.

Trees have been cut down in Gotham Park (near La Venganza del Enigma drop tower) where the Halloween passage "La llorona" was located in recent years (film "The curse of La llorona").



The back of the simulator building has been demolished:



Between La Venganza del Enigma drop tower and Scooby Doo dark ride, what look like supports for footers, ditches, and pipes have appeared.



In the last weekend, the old queues of La Venganza del Enigma were not used because they were for meant for a bigger attendance

The Batman logo has been removed from the simulator, topographic landmarks have appeared, and the rear of the simulator has been further demolished.

Supposedly it should use the simulator building, the rear, and the Gotham Park part. All rumors.

Not sure if worth posting but apparently a new attraction featuring a Wiegand alpine coaster is being built on UAE’s highest point which is the Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah. It’s to be called the Jais Sledder. Check out photos below:

A new "theme park" area of Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park will be opening soon with three rides, one of which is Vietnam's first wooden roller coaster. The ride features a 29 meter high lift hill and 853 meters of track, and will officially be named "Roaring Timbers":

US Thrill Rides sells its first new Skyblazer™ attraction, to be installed this Spring in Austin, Texas

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Bill Kitchen, Orlando’s legendary ride and attraction inventor, announces the first sale of the new Skyblazer. Matt Hughey, the Senior Manager of Circuit of the Americas, commented: “The Skyblazer is so unique. It will be a tall, iconic and exciting addition to our new amusement park.”

18 passenger soon-to-be flyers load from the ground in a disc-shaped vehicle before ascending in an arc path to a 200 ft drop height. Then as they fall and swing, the disk naturally swivels, providing multiple dimensions of thrills! Gradually, the giant swing comes to a safe stop to unload the breathless flyers.

The Skyblazer towers will be strikingly beautiful and iconic. The structure shines in the sun and glows in the dark! Models will be available for 6 to 18 flyers.

Entire families will experience the high-flying excitement born from one of the most rip-roaring new attractions ever, in Texas’ thrilling new amusement park.

Icon Park in Orlando is opening the world’s tallest freestanding drop tower and the world’s tallest slingshot.
