With the recent announcement that European music festival producer 'Tomorrowland' would be collaborating with Plopsaland De Panne on the design of the upcoming 'The Ride to Happiness' roller coaster, here's a look at some other instances in which these two mediums have intersected.

In 2013, Insomniac and its founder, Pasqualle Rotella, collaborated with Legacy Entertainment on the design on several highly-themed stages, including the post-apocalyptic BASSCON stage at the company's signature Electric Daisy Carnival event in Las Vegas.

Legoland Windsor has released an official opening date of May 2021, for its new land, Lego Mythica!

The resort released new concept art, showing two drop towers (fire and ice) which stand at 13 metres tall and information about the highly anticipated flying theatre. This ride will take you under the wings of Maximum, the sky lion and you will meet mythical beasts such as the two headed hydra etc.

Legoland Windsor resort also released information telling us there will be two eateries, the hungry troll restaurant and the beastly bites snack bar!

In the early stages of the design of Universal Studios Singapore, a variety of design concepts were solicited for several of the park's key attractions. For the Madagascar dark ride, Legacy Entertainment proposed a trackless interactive ride with guests taking photos of their journey with onboard cameras. Ultimately, a different scheme was selected, which opened in 2011 as the 'Madagascar: A Crate Adventure' boat ride.

'Dream Mountain' was a theme park concept developed by Legacy Entertainment in 2011 for the city of Fuzhou, China. Unique elements of the design include a two-sided 'main street', as well as the figure-8 hub configuration.

'Magic in the Movies' is a unique studio tour concept in-development for an unspecified location in Asia. Through large-scale miniatures, interactive displays, and multimedia spectaculars, guests will be given an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the process of film and television production.

This is just speculation but I'm wondering if this expansion is a separate "Peppa Pig" area. The location of this relative to the rest of the park would make sense and the rides and design of the area seem to be similar to Peppa Pig Land at Heide Park and Gardaland and Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park.

In Manchester, England a new attraction will be open named - "I'm a celebrity jungle challenge!"

It will be based upon the popular franchise and will be ready to open in 2021 (if all goes well with covid-19).

Expect to find an exciting mix of tasks and trials based around the iconic Main Camp, Croc Creek and Snake Rock in the ultimate jungle encounter. Enjoy the action packed challenge through jungle ziplines, tree top ropes course and vertical climbing walls. It's the perfect day out for all the family!

Campmates will venture into the specially created jungle where you’ll need to navigate a series of obstacles and challenges. Face your fears, test your nerve and agility, collecting as many stars as you can for your chance to be crowned “King” or “Queen” of the jungle!

It looks as if it will be like a rope adventure course with a jungle overlay.

A new waterpark for Saudi Arabia due to open this year.

Now the announcement of another water park dubbed CYAN Water Park was released, which is also set to be constructed near the port city of Jeddah and is scheduled to open this year.

As a partner and supplier of numerous water attractions, the company again chose Canadian manufacturer ProSlide. The water ride installations in the new water park will include the TornadoWave® 60, FlyingSAUCER® and Dueling RocketBLAST® amongst others.
