Al Barakah International Investment, developer of Al Qana in Abu Dhabi, has revealed the latest progress of its much-anticipated waterfront social dining and entertainment destination.
As promised and despite the challenges, the construction of the project in on schedule and is currently 90 per cent complete.
The waterfront destination spanning an area of 2.4 km, forms Al Qana. • 95 per cent of The National Aquarium, Middle East’s largest aquarium is completed
• 85 per cent of Al Qana Cinema construction work is completed

• Food & Beverage outlets gearing up to take handover of their units
• The Marina and its 100 berths are 100 per cent installed
• 85 per cent of The Bridge Wellness hub construction work is completed
Several years ago, the park's owners collaborated with Legacy Entertainment on an exercise to look at ways in which the classic oceanfront theme park might be reimagined. As part of this, a wide variety of architectural styles were developed for the main midway, as seen below. In the end, the selected option was a promenade comprised solely of beloved 'lost' architecture of San Diego buildings and structures which no longer exist.
The company that have proposed this project include the phrase ”with the first flying theatre in the UK” this is very misleading, I thought LEGOLAND Windsor was getting the first one?

A huge theme park worth £300m could soon open if Blackpool Council can secure land for the major build.The firm expected to dominate the site will be the Chariots of the Gods Entertainment Park which is an indoor theme and adventure park inspired by books from the 1960s and 70s by Swiss author Erich von Däniken, reports the MEN.
