Two new attractions are now open in Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Nigloland 2021

Vertical construction on the new Mack water coaster for Nigloland is proceeding quite fast. The final drop as well as several support columns are already in place.

The French park Nigloland offers its visitors a variety of five roller coasters of different types, for children, families or extreme. In 2021, a sixth model will complete the offer.

The park has chosen an aquatic model. A Water Coaster called Krampus Expedition by German designer Mack Rides , with whom the park is used to working. This type of attraction combines the sensations of a roller coaster on an aerial circuit and aquatic pleasures ending in the water. The overall budget allocated is 15 million euros, including the study, attraction, theme, structural work and probably a restaurant and / or shop.

It is a wise choice on two counts, since in addition to enriching the collection of roller coasters, it will strengthen the aquatic offer of Nigloland . Krampus Expedition is not a standard copy or a clone, it will offer an exclusive route and will be fully customized.

The Krampus is a mythical, anthropomorphic, horned demonic creature described as "half goat, half demon." Found in European mythology and folklore, especially in alpine regions (traditionally, young men dress up as Krampus on the evening of December 5, roam the streets scaring children with chains and bells).

In the early development stages of Universal Studios Singapore, multiple license options were considered, including a deal to use DC characters. In this scenario, the location currently occupied by 'Transformers: The Ride 3D' would be home to a Batman 3D dark ride. These storyboards, part of a proposal by Legacy Entertainment, were illustrated by famed DC comic designer Neal Adams.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi are launching a new Roof Walk and Zipline experience this year.

From November 5, you’ll be able to go on a roof walk and try out the new zip line. Both will offer up incredible views over Yas Island, with the zip line passing through Flying Aces roller coaster loop.

Now that the track for the new Intamin Mega Coaster has been completed, work is focused on adding the theming to the station building.

A new aquarium planned for Florida.

Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota secured a total of $5 million from Manatee County’s tourism taxes to help pay for the organization’s new Science Education Aquarium at Nathan Benderson Park.

Tuesday morning’s approval came more than a year after the Sarasota-based research aquarium asked the Manatee Board of County Commissioners to provide $15 million in funding toward the 1-million gallon facility. The board voted 6-1 to approve a much lower annual contribution of $1 million for five years.

Commissioners have debated the allocation for several months, with some arguing that the funds would be better spent within county lines. While tourism taxes are collected from fees attached to hotel and short-term rentals, the funds cannot be spent on construction outside of Manatee County. The Mote SEA will be built in Sarasota County, just south of the county line, and is expected to cost around $130 million.
