Ferrari World Abu Dhabi are launching a new Roof Walk and Zipline experience this year.

From November 5, you’ll be able to go on a roof walk and try out the new zip line. Both will offer up incredible views over Yas Island, with the zip line passing through Flying Aces roller coaster loop.

Now that the track for the new Intamin Mega Coaster has been completed, work is focused on adding the theming to the station building.
It looks already quite impressive!

A new aquarium planned for Florida.

Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota secured a total of $5 million from Manatee County’s tourism taxes to help pay for the organization’s new Science Education Aquarium at Nathan Benderson Park.

Tuesday morning’s approval came more than a year after the Sarasota-based research aquarium asked the Manatee Board of County Commissioners to provide $15 million in funding toward the 1-million gallon facility. The board voted 6-1 to approve a much lower annual contribution of $1 million for five years.

Commissioners have debated the allocation for several months, with some arguing that the funds would be better spent within county lines. While tourism taxes are collected from fees attached to hotel and short-term rentals, the funds cannot be spent on construction outside of Manatee County. The Mote SEA will be built in Sarasota County, just south of the county line, and is expected to cost around $130 million.

The popular Let's Dream! nighttime spectacular at South Korea's Lotte World theme park, which debuted in 2014, features several "firsts" in terms of special effects and float design, including a float featuring a "hologram" effect. These illustrations depict the design and development of some of these secondary units.

Nocturnia is an immersive theater boat ride concept jointly developed by Cirque du Soleil, Michael Curry Design, and Legacy Entertainment.

Unlike traditional boat rides, Nocturnia has been conceptualized as a premium, upcharge experience with a limited capacity, operating only at nighttime. Guests would await their journey in a fantastical safari lodge before being led through a dense forest to their awaiting boats. Along the hour-long adventure, guests would encounter a number of whimsical fantasy creatures, some animatronic, and some operated by live puppeteers.

Delays for SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, American Dream Mall opening.

Merlin Entertainment began filling the tanks at its SEA LIFE Aquarium at American Dream in February in anticipation of its April 23 opening. Then the coronavirus pandemic hit, the mega-mall was shuttered and the opening plans shelved. Now Merlin says that the aquarium and its Legoland Discovery Center won’t open until Spring 2021.

Sea Life will house more than 3,000 creatures in more than 10 interactive exhibits with a “City Under the Sea” theme. The aquarium will feature a 13-foot tall replica of the Empire ‘Skate’ Building, a play on the famous Manhattan hotel, the Whale-dorf Astoria, and more iconic buildings. Its largest tank will have various species of sharks, fish, rays and other sea creatures.

Legoland Discovery Center will have interactive educational experiences targeted to children between 3 and 10 years old. It will have a LEGO themed train ride, 4D cinema, LEGO building classes hosted by a Master Model Builder, MINILAND™ a LEGO re-creation of NJ and NYC landmarks and more .
