A Puy Du Fou Park is planned for China opening in 2022.

After its successful launch in Spain, Puy du Fou is turning to China, whose historical and cultural wealth offers, for its shows, an immense source of inspiration. The Puy du Fou hopes to inaugurate its first Chinese spectacle in 2022, at the foot of the Great Wall , the country's most emblematic monument, known worldwide.
It is in Qinhuangdao, opposite the Great Wall , that the Puy du Fou has chosen a particularly spectacular site, imbued with poetry and mystery. The city government has already given its agreement to the creation of a great night show signed by the Puy du Fou on the model of Cinéscénie (France) or El Sueño de Toledo (Spain). The first phase of this project also includes a themed hotel, a large restaurant-show and a period village.
On the occasion of the President of the Republic's trip to China, the Puy du Fou signs a contract to create this great show at the foot of the Chinese Wall . The total budget for this project is 230 million euros.

New photos and details have been released by Jingang Technology, a Chinese ride manufacturer, for their new robotic arm dark ride named 'Crazy Journey' at Suzhou Paradise Forest World in China. Similarly to the Dynamic Attractions/KUKA robotic arm dark ride, this ride is also on a track with four seats across per vehicle and the ride scenes are a mix of dome screens and physical sets. It's unclear if the ride is open or about to open.

    Entrance to the ride building:

    Theming in the ride's queue:

The premise of the ride is the following: "travel through the mysterious underground world, encounter beautiful alien scenes, encounter terrifying mutant creatures, and witness the culture and the unique charm of harmony between technology and ecology."

The famous Spanish leisure complex PortAventura World aims to build a fourth park, dedicated to football, next to the three already existing ( PortAventura , Costa Caribe Aquatic Park and Ferrari Land ).
The first phase, with a budget of 10 million euros, will include a virtual game which will be offered from the next football season 2021-2022. But also a digital center, a restaurant and a shop offering LaLiga products .

The second phase of the project consists of a themed attraction of LaLiga . The budget is 40 million euros, which is already considerable for an attraction.

Still in development at the time of writing, the third phase, much more ambitious, is the culmination of the creation of the park, with substantial infrastructure. The investment for this last phase is an additional 100 million euros.

    A possible LEGOLAND in Belgium?

This is the huge news of the day, which will delight Belgian park enthusiasts. The British group Merlin Entertainments is studying the establishment of a new Legoland amusement park in Charleroi (Gosselies), on the former Caterpillar site .
According to the daily, which mentions an actor close to the issue, the alternative Legoland amusement park seems quite solid today and even mentions a 75% chance of getting there!

Merlin Entertainments is looking to develop a new Legoland park with attractions, hotels and restaurants in central Europe and needs an area of ??100 hectares. This is precisely the size of the Caterpillar site . The proximity of Charleroi airport, the motorway and rail network as well as the availability of labor are undoubtedly major assets.
This operation is carried out jointly by Merlin Entertainments and the Walloon Region. Merlin is ready to put 100 million euros on the table. The entire project is estimated at 300 million. The group hopes to raise 200 million from investors within 6 weeks.
The site which is being investigated.

The World's largest snow park is due to open this year.

The attraction will span across a huge 125,000 sq ft area, divided into distinct whimsical zones. We can look forward to themed-character and 13 thrilling rides and attractions co-conceived by Al Farwaniya Property Developers, Majid Al Futtaim Ventures and Thinkwell. It doesn’t matter if the weather outside is frightful. The park will be kept at a rosy-nosed -2ºC, with a 500mm covering of snow (more than enough for beefy snowball building) offering a year-round chill spot in this, our beloved land of the eternal sun.
The enchanted-forest themed Snow Abu Dhabi is scheduled for completion in the last part of this year, and it’s being trailed as ‘the world’s largest snow park’.

Construction is well underway at its location inside the USD1.2billon Reem Mall project, on Reem Island which is set to open around the same time.

Similarly to the SeaWorld Orlando concept shared in the previous post, this is Hetzel Design's concept for a "Giraffe Hotel" at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. It was likely made around the same time as the SeaWorld Orlando art so 2017 but unlike most of the SeaWorld Orlando concepts this still could become reality someday:
