I believe the Aquaventure expansion (Trident Tower) will be located between Dolphin Bay and the The Royal Atlantis Towers. You can see the available space in this layout:



The land clearing in the satellite imagery will probably be the gateway that leads to Trident Tower. There's still potential for the dolphin show (https://www.inmotionent.com/project/atlantis/) to be built in that area as well because the Trident Tower seems narrow and close to the beach.

Flamingo Land in Yorkshire has confirmed on social media that it will open a new 10-Inversion Roller Coaster in 2020.

I recently got the opportunity to go to Universal Studios Hollywood to look at the construction of the lower lot project, secret life of pets attraction, and a little bit of construction for Halloween horror nights. While not confirmed by universal, a universal cast member told me that the secret life of pets attraction will not be a fantasyland style dark ride as previously rumored, but will instead be a motion simulator style attraction.

The Lionsgate Entertainment World theme park included in Phase 1 of the Novotown project in Hengqin has opened today, with an opening ceremony held in the new entertainment complex.

The theme park – described as the ‘first movie-themed multi-sensory interactive center in the world' – will include attractions from American entertainment company Lionsgate, including The Hunger Games, The Twilight Saga, The Divergent Series, Now You See Me, Escape Plan and Gods of Egypt.

Phase II of the project will be a 191,070-square metre site and have 382,140 square meters of gross floor area, for retail and entertainment, with Harrow International China Group signed up to develop a leadership academy and a sports and recreation, with Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, Ducati and Harrow International (China) Management Services Limited as partners.

Dubai's Atlantis Aquaventure waterpark has a major expansion on the cards, with plans to open a dozen new rides in the middle of 2020.

An addition to adding to the 20 rides and rivers already spread across its 170,000sq m (1.8 million sq ft) at Palm Island, the 34-metre (111.5ft) tall Trident Tower will feature a number of rides supplied by ProSlide, including MammothBlast, a 449-metre (1,473ft) family adventure water coaster that uses water propulsion technology; the Dueling PipelineBlast/FlyingSaucer 20 hybrid ride, which propels guests through "gravity-defying" turns at high speed; and RallyRacer 32, a ride for competitive visitors.

Atlantis's new 43-storey Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences is set to open beside the waterpark in Q3 2020, with 231 luxury apartments, 795 luxury hotel rooms, and more than 90 swimming pools including a rooftop Skypool.
