Busch Gardens Tampa is opening a new roller coaster for 2019 called TIGRIS, which is a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II. The park just release this Time Lapse video of the coasters construction. This is the first of 2 coasters coming to Busch Gardens Tampa. A second coaster will open in 2020 and will be an RMC redo of Gwazi.

Check out Universal Orlando's updated Mardi Gras Parade for 2019. This year the park completely updated their parade with almost all new floats (even old floats were rebuilt) and a new theme, Animals. This really is one of the best theme park parades out there and brings big crowds too the park. It just a lot of fun. Universal's entertainment group has really upped their game over the last few years, with their new Christmas Parade, new Night Lights on Hogwarts Castle and the new Studios Cinematic Celebration Show.

The French Parc Astérix amusement park has postponed the opening of a new hotel. Actually, the intention was to use the hotel Les Quais de Lutèce this year. Now it is clear that the opening will only take place in the spring of 2020.

Les Quais de Lutèce is the third hotel of Parc Astérix, after Hôtel des Trois Hiboux (1999) and Le Cité Suspendue (2018). There will be 150 different rooms, a large restaurant and an indoor pool. The hotel is designed as a port town with water and bridges.

The Dubai Ain was still being "worked on" when I was in Dubai last week. To be honest it doesn't look like much progress since I last saw it in June 2018...

In this video you can see a bit of Disneyland's Project Stardust. This project, aimed to ease crowd flow, has touched Main Street Usa, security tents, Tomorrowland and the Astro Orbiter, and even Sleeping Beauty castle. This video also has other enhancements/construction updates to the resort.
