Today construction has begun on a Super Wings-themed area at Happy Valley Chongqing. The area, which was announced last year, is replacing an existing sparse area of the park. Its cost is 600 million yuan and it's expected to open in May 2021. The area's main ride, named "Jett's Secret Mission," is a 200 million yuan dark ride/simulator by Simtec. Other attractions in the new area include the largest outdoor climb structure in southwest China and a monorail.











This isn't the first time there were plans for a Super Wings-themed area in China. Back in 2018 Six Flags and Riverside Group announced plans for a Super Wings area at Six Flags in Zhejiang.

OCT’s Maya Waterpark in Nanjing opened on July 2. The adjacent Happy Valley theme park is almost complete.
