Source:IPOH: The RM450mil Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) project in Meru Raya is proceeding smoothly and is expected to be completed between March and April next year.
MAPS founder and chief executive officer Darren McLean said the projected time of completion had been moved further by three months.

The park will be comprised of 40 rides, located at Meru Raya, Perak.
Construction phases:
Phase One - Consists of the main theme park, which is currently around 40-45% completed.
Phase Two - Comprises hotels, serviced apartments and lifestyle retail and dining concept.
Phase Three - Comprises a unique water park.

"Asia’s first animation theme park in Ipoh to feature local talents"
Source:Animation Theme Park Sdn Bhd Founder Ramelle Ramli said the goal would be realised via collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports by providing training, development and employment opportunities to the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) students.
MAPS will train at least 40 IKBN students every year, he told reporters after the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between MAPS and the ministry on the collaboration here today.
