Dubai Parks and Resorts remains on track for October 2016 launch with $1.03bn (AED3.8bn) cumulative project expenditure recorded at the end of June 2015.
Raed Al Nuami, CEO, Dubai Parks and Resorts, said, “In a little over 12 months, we will deliver a world-class attraction for residents and tourists in the United Arab Emirates. We continue to track well against our plans and it is pleasing to see the project coming to life a little more each day as we come closer to realising our vision."
He added, “Our project infrastructure is 57% complete as at the end of second quarter, up from 43% in the first quarter, ride engineering and manufacturing is progressing as planned with 52% complete and 80% of our procurement has been completed.”![]()
I have seen a video yesterday regarding the construction progress of Motiongate. However, it had been deleted and nowhere to be found. It showed that nearly most of Motiongate infrastructure were nearly completed. The DreamWorks building looks done and also the main plaza.

Read more here:he regional unit of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) has won a US$67 million contract to build access roads to the forthcoming Dubai Parks and Resorts site.
The contract from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will involve the construction of two new ramps to provide access to the site from Sheikh Zayed Road as well as at-grade intersections from the link road between Sheikh Zayed Road and Mohammed bin Rashid Road.

Read more here:Steady construction progress has been reported at the project; 17% of work on the total development has been conducted, and engineering and manufacturing elements for the rides are 40% complete.
Infrastructure work is 45% complete at Legoland, where piling activities are currently in progress. Moreover, rides for the theme park are ready to be shipped in from Europe.
Things are also progressing steadily at Bollywood Parks, with 30% of the projects infrastructure now complete.
