Not a lot of updates have come out for the Real Madrid theme park, like concept art or planned rollercoasters (could be the ones currently stored on the site of the former Bollywood Park (Source: https://rcdb.com/19692.htm https://rcdb.com/19694.htm). Though there is a recent article which I came across not too long ago which mentions that the theme park is in the designing phase and is still set to open by the end of this year. The article also mentions that they're mainly focusing on the theme park, so that's good news.

I have reason to believe that something regarding Harry Potter might be revealed on the 25th of July, as that day marks the 5th anniversary of the theme park. They might reveal the groundbreaking date or also announce a targeted opening date for the new land. Happy to see more stuff being added to the park, it's one of my all time favorites

Though I think that idea is amazing as Motiongate is my favorite park at the complex, it most likely won't happen as it is possible that the site becomes the Real Madrid Theme Park. They might keep the wooden coaster and keep constructing it as it never opened to the public.
  4. Bollywood will seemingly get 2 new rollercoasters in the future as they're currently in storage. The rollercoasters include a Mack PowerSplash and a Mack Hypercoaster

Any news of an expansion for the theme park? I had a lot of fun there during my 2 visits. Would love to see what they have in store.

DPaR has yet to open a 5th theme park there and Six Flags Dubai was cancelled 2019. We have yet to find out which theme park will open there.

I totally agree with you! In my honest opinion, Dubai has a lack of knowledge on executing projects, as they have started construction on multiple theme parks that they didn't have any funds left. Right now I'm living in a compound known as Mudon. The plot of Mudon was going to be Six Flags Dubailand, that means I'm living in the plot of a promising project which became known as the biggest theme park failure. Expect a Six Flags theme park in Abu Dhabi, as the Emirate have a lot of knowledge on executing projects.

Have the opening dates for the two rollercoasters in Motiongate and Bombay Express in Bollywood Parks been announced/confirmed? In RCDB, it says 2021 with no month stated to this date.

To my understanding, I think they have cancelled it because I haven't seen any news about the theme park. Who knows, they might have halted construction, just like 20th Century Fox World Dubai.

Michael, I just realized that the hybrid coaster in the concept art is much bigger than what's being built in the park. Was there a height restriction placed or did the park decide to make it smaller?

Is there any news on the roller coasters? Like the name, manufacturer and model? I would love to see some updates or at least expect them early 2021.
  13. Thanks for letting me know that it's a star flyer. It looked like a drop tower due to its resemblance to Superman: Tower of Power. I was thinking that instead of building a PowerSplash, Mack Rides could open their first PowerLoop there. If you didn't know, Mack Rides announced that they will add a loop to their PowerSplash model, called the PowerLoop. Basically, it's a separate model but with a loop. It's the first water coaster ever to have an inversion.

Here's a video showcasing how the coaster would look like:

As far as I know, these are the 5 rides which have been relocated from Six Flags Dubai to Motiongate (2 rides) and Bollywood Parks Dubai (3 rides). Note that in the concept art for the NYSM rollercoaster, the non-inverting loop is near the entrance of the unfortunate demise of Six Flags Dubai. The loop is near the place where it says Six Flags Dubai.

It could be the concept art when the PowerSplash wasn't decided on where it would be relocated, I guess. The PowerSplash might have an opening next month as it states 2020 as it's opening year. The hybird coaster will open sometime next year. Is there any info about the stats of the hybrid? And one more thing, is there any pics showing construction pics of the upcoming rollercoaster in Motiongate? All there is in RCDB is the concept art. One more thing is that I can't believe that the NYSM rollercoaster has a loop, that too, a non-inverting one!

  17. The former photo is the RCDB page of Bollywood Parks Dubai. The latter photo is a rollercoaster planned for the theme park mentioned. This means that a Mack PowerSplash is confirmed, and it must be from Six Flags Dubai.

Looks lovely, Michael! But I can't see the Mack PowerSplash which was supposed to be in the now cancelled Six Flags Dubai.

Do you guys think that they'll revive the project? I was looking forward to it as I was very excited that Universal Studios was coming to Dubai.

It might not look like it. It seems like they just started building it. RCDB says the coaster will open 2021, so we're not sure when in 2021 it will open.

Sorry if this is off-topic, but I'm actually pretty bummed that they had to cancel Six Flags Dubai. I mentioned the theme park because the former's rollercoasters were relocated to Motiongate. By the way, is there any news/leaks about the 5th gate of DPaR?

I have a question about the new Now You See Me rollercoaster. Will it be indoors or outdoors?
