New information via the NBCUniversal Community Line--the coaster will be host two trains when dispatched with each train being able to contain up to 16 passengers. The coaster will also be incorporating state of the art incentives to cut the curb on sound emissions, including sound halfpipes, controlled spinning for the coaster, and a sound wall to block off the audible screams.

Permits have been filed for an 11 Story Hotel at Universal Studios Hollywood, under the moniker of Project 515 as of May 2nd, 2023. Permit filings go further back to December when initial permits were being drafted over near the USH Globe.

For those familar, NBCUniversal's Evolution Plan has pin-pointed two potential spots for an all new hotel, that being in-between Frankenstein Parking and the Creative Campus; and that of Globe Gardens and the area surrounding the USH globe.

The blood has been there since the original reopening back in 2019.

So, as a fair question. Soft openings have technically begun, right?

We want you to be aware that as we continue to invest in the property, you may hear some construction noise and see grading work of the hillside closest to the Barham Gate during the next few months to prepare the area for future production growth.

The majority of the work will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Occasionally, you may hear construction noise on Saturdays between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. All county and city construction & noise ordinances and health orders will be followed.

We will make our best efforts to minimize noise and Saturday work, as much as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience because of these activities.
To chime in on this (And with proper credit to those outside of here), Clive on the IU forums seemed to point out that the Falls Lake project warranting the move of the Log Cabin set to be now behind the War of The Worlds sets [Where the old Lost World/JP3 sets were], the project being at Falls Lake is a new transportation lot (as the Barham Gate project includes the old Transportation lot).

I do think that with elements such as that of the removal of the former Soundstages 28, 21-25; and with the addition of soundstages next to the Production Bungalows and replacing the old Red Sea; that we may be inbound for changes of what Barham Gate's project was. Especially with the Creative Campus built right next to the NBCUniversal Building 1440.

It has been nearly a decade since the revised Evolution Plan did get shown off after-all; wouldn't be surprising if the plans evolved as the studio and park did.

Interesting--that's not the only project being worked on seemingly on the studio front, as activity is spewing out over at Barham Gate; with massive grading taking place at the former Child Care center; and seemingly into the hillside.

Beginning on April 16th--while complying with California's guidelines; Universal Studios Hollywood will be reopening officially! And futhermore, Secret Life of Pets: Off The Leash will be opening alongside the park!

Additionally, an all new finale for Jurassic World: The Ride will be coming to the park!

Spanning nearly 55 ft horizontally, 22 ft vertically, the Indominus’ imposing presence will be amplified by the fluidity of her motions and synchronized movements that deliver an unprecedented level of authenticity. From the subtle blinking of her eyes, the flexing of her arms & claws, and clenching of her jaw as she bears her razor-sharp teeth, the colossal I-Rex will lunge from her hillside setting, stalking guests before they descend the giant waterfall drop to escape her grasp.

The Mystery project, is actually the new Visionary Campus announced right before COVID kind of hit for Hollywood--located on one of the planned Hotel sites that they originally had in mind for the Evolution Project.

Word had pinned the project stalled as other things were on the priority, but it seems they're finally going to continue it. As for the lack of construction workers at the Super Nintendo World plot, it really more depends on the time of day and that a lot of the progress now will come within the interior's and around the outer rims. If it stalled, other sites would have people bringing that up.

Truthfully, they've done quite the opposite, working on the finishing of Jurassic World - The Ride, and going full on with Nintendo. If they were going to pause it, they would've paused it a while ago. Things got delayed, sure, but it isn't like we're 3 years out from seeing it.

They've been working on this--and have no signs of stopping anytime soon.
