    Hello Everyone!

The zone is now completly build, and this is cleary the most beautiful place in the park!
I was lucky enough to be around for the soft opening so I had the opportunity to ride it. And despite the fact I often go to the parcs and I sometime got bored by some attractions, all I did was laughing and say it's wonderful during the ride. Truly.
Everything is so huge in there! I had the feeling I was at the CES, everything I saw was a technological "tour de force". Even the costumes for cast members are wondeful. Better than the one for Phantom Manor (and I'm really fan of this costume). Of course, there are some points that could be improved, but nothing disturbing

I won't spoil it so much so I will stop here for the ride, but truly, this is amazing, and a very good sign for the future of the park (and widely the resort)

I couldn't see much of the restaurant, as all I saw was the zone you can see from unload, but it's beautiful.

The shop isn't open yet, and should be open around late october/november

Here's a panorama (from Monday) of the aera

A former colleague of mine in Disneyland Paris told that Philippe Gas (current DLP CEO) is planning to open Ratatouille in May or June 2014

The restaurant is likely to be called Le Bistrot "Chez Rémy"

There should be 42 vehicles, with wi-fi control (wich is pretty surprising), going by group of three

Next I'll gather information taken from a meeting with Joe Schott, Director General Adjoint Operations of Disneyland Paris since december 2009.

Not only by Disney, but by Pierre&Vacances also, so this is a common project between two companies. I don't remeber if I have already talked about it, but this is mainly to attract people that are not very attracted by Disneyland Paris itself. I think the main target are the Germans.

An interresting update today, as many plans has been released. RirRac, a DCP member went to Chessy's City Hall and pictured the plans. He seems to have enven more than what follows

This is a view of the whole building, the ride, the waiting line, the restaurant, even the toilets!

There you can take a closer look at the restaurant. As you can see, you won't see it while riding.
You can also see the parts of the waiting line (File d'attente)

    ]
There you can see the regular line in red, the Single Rider in blue, and the Fast Pass line in dashes.

This is the full ride where you can see in wich direction the vehicules will be moving

Same picture, but clearer, with no lines

One last image to show you the ride

    Red line: ride path
    Red dashes: maintenance bay
    Blue dots: boarding area
    Yellow dots: leaving area
    Green: hemispherical screens
Purple: end of the waiting lines

Also, intern recruitements have started for the opening team

Totally of topic, but I'll be working as à Cast Member starting June 8th!

Exactly, I don't know, but the two rides are said to be "cousin". Ratatouille will have 3D glasses (I don't know for Mystic Manor). Aside from this fact, the system should be pretty much identical.

Finally, Ratatouille may not be named Kitchen Calamity, but something else in french making a pun with the word "toqué", that you can translate by dotty, or can be related to the wor "toque", wich is the name of cook's hat.
The exterior theming might be done within six months!

About the ride itself, a few days ago, the Mystic Manor ride opened in Hong Kong. If you haven't checked the videos, I strongly recommend it, it's truely awesome (and by awesome, I mean AWESOME!). My point is that DLP CEO announced that Ratatouille will be Mystic Manor's little brother in terms of technology. This is nothing but good news!
Furthermore, the ride will have ten stages, including loading and unloading, all happening in or around Gusteau's kitchen. The waiting line will be like Paris' rooftops.

For more informations (and also my source): http://disneyandmore.blogspot.fr/2013/04/walt-disney-studios-ratatouille-ride.html

Let's leave Ratatouille now, and see what's going on elsewhere.
DLP CEO changed his plans (we don't know the reasons yet: money? WDI? TWDC?) and the next ride will not be Toy Story Mania (until the plans change again), nor Star Tours 2, BUT, some tests have been done (or are still being done) for Star Tours 2 in the Star Tours ride.

Also interesting, PotC may feature some new effects, similar to what you can find in the US, as a CO2 tank has been settled close to the ride. Apparently it might serve for smoke effects and cascade projections...

It's been a long time without providing updates, but as the inside of the building can't be seen, I thought it would be pointless to show new scaffolding day after day.

Anyway, here are some concepts for disabled passengers vehicles, brought by Mouetto on DCP

The building seems to be completely closed now, so that we can't see what's happening inside. I'll check this out this evening or Monday. So now, the only thing we can see until the opening is the outside thematisation

    I got you a quick 3D view from Philippep62 :

Finaly, the entry line, that you can locate on the last image I've posted below is here

I've never been there, but it may be something like that. At least, vehicles are similar. Trackless motion and a LPS (Local Positioning System).
I've never been to Orlando, but some people say this will be a mix between The Simpsons and Spider-Man

    New information:

About the area, there won't be an Eiffel Tower as seen on the artwork. On the other and, a fountain is likely to be in the middle of the area.

The boutique has an uncertain future. For the moment, there may be no boutique on the opening, but it might come later.

The restaurant will have an area oh 463 square meter for the main room plus 162 square meters for the terrace.

370 seats inside and 100 more oustide. To compare, the Plaza Gardens has 368 seats
Plaza Gardens Restaurant : 368 seats
Restaurant des Stars : 320 seats
Silver Spur Steakhouse : 302 seats
    Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet : 280 seats
The Lucky Nugget Saloon : 273 seats
Blue Lagoon Restaurant : 220 seats
Auberge de Cendrillon : 234 seats
    Agrabah Café : 230 places
    Walt's - an American Restaurant : 138 seats

For the menu, nothing is sure, but DLP CEO talked about a kind of "Be Our Guest" type: a unique course with some variations that you order when you enter the restaurant, you get you seats, and when it's ready, you're served.

Finally, the kitchen and the ride are very likely to be nested, like the blue lagoon and PotC. This opens for many things related to the storyline
All these information (or almost all) are given by Mouetto from DisneyCentralPlaza

Ratatouille should open in 2014. Some people are more optimists, as if everything goes well (no problem with money, or building like for the Tower of Terror), it may open for Decembre 2013. I think in the worst case, August 2014, but I assume they'll do everything they can to finish it before, in order ton attract more people during summer

Nothing is sure yet, except big changes. There seems to be many ideas (like a 3D tunnel for example), but all can't be done.
In my opinion, it would be logical if the queue was moved, but I think at least that the layout will move or the ride suppressed

A good new for Pixar's fans. The rumour about Toy Story Mania (The French version doesn't seem to deserve Midway in it's name ^^) seems to be more than just gossips. The construction may begin just after Ratatouille Opening. And this will likely mean the dismantlement of Studio Tram Tour or at least, a huge modification of the ride

More informations about the ride itself instead of pictures
    (Source: InsideDLParisFR's twitter)

WARNING, Contains spoilers about the storyline of the ride

The future zone will have a Ride, a restaurant (likely to be named "La Ratatouille") "service à table" not fast food, not a buffet, toilets, and a street ending on a little area with a fountain. There may also be a boutique there.

There will be three waiting lines. A Stand by, a Fast Pass, and a Single Rider one. Those lines will be separated, and the 3D glasses distribution will be made separately

Gusteau's ghost will appear in the waiting line.

Visitor's will be rat-sized and board the rides over the roofs of Paris in vehicles with six seats

Theese are gonna be Trackless vehicles , rat-shaped, and will be able to rotate on one axis and move on cylinders. This barely means, a new kind of EMV!

The 3D parts projected on hemispherical screens will be producted by Pixar and it's going to be very hard to tell whether it's reality or not

    Opening 2014 (?)

If it's work, it will attract many people, but I don't think those people will spend a day in DLP, as this is pretty far away from the parcs, and there is enough to do in the Village.

So, the walls of th ride-side are almost finished, so I think it's gonna be hard ton see much more, except if we get the good seats in Parachute Drop, and still, it might not be enough. But the restaurant area isn't finished yet, so we may have some more picture of it

A little update of the global upcoming (90% rumors, gossips, indiscretions)

    Disneyland Park
Well, a big astonishing new had arrive (and this one is official): The Shareholder club has remade it's Terms of use, and if you want to be a part of it, you'll have to possess 100 share (20 before). A internal note that has leaked talks about a special Shareholder pass (with the Francilien, the Fantasyn, and the Dream)
This is after the payment of the debt (1.3 billions giveaway from TWDC), and the rumor of take-over bid (which is still possible, even if nothing has been confirmed)

    Discoveryland
    - Captain Eo will re open in october or november

    - Star Tours 2 is not planned for DLP, as Georges Lucas said in a question/answer session during Star Wars Celebration IV (or VI, I can't remember)

    Frontierland
    - Halloween season begins Monday, beadwork are already in place and they are quite awesome. Phantom Manor Refurbishement ends today, so tommorow it will reopen to public (no upgrade)

    Walt Disney Studios

    Toon Studio
Ratatouille ride is still under construction. The most optimistic guys think it may open for early 2013. The more pessimistic says in summer 2014. Moreover, the building may include some offices (maintenance apparently). And for those who knows theese rides (I don't, so share your experience please), Ratatouille will be a mix between The Simpson Ride and Spiderman (I think they're in Universal)

    Toy Story Playland
More and More people talks about Toy Story Midway Mania

Once again, all I know, I've got it from DisneyCentralPlaza
