Not much happening on-site:

This week a cooperation signing ceremony was held between Sichuan Tourism Investment Group, China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven, and Global Zhongjun Cultural Tourism Development Co. for the development of Legoland Sichuan, so hopefully construction will ramp up soon.

Work is moving quickly on the retail and dining area (likely named Lego Square) but nothing is happening at the theme park or waterpark to the point of weeds growing all over the cleared site. Unsurprisingly the opening target has been pushed back to 2025.

Work is progressing quickly on the retail, dining, and entertainment area and to the left of that is where the waterpark will be:



And just down the street construction walls with signage have gone up for the world's first Peppa Pig Resort. The signage shows the design for the resort's SEA LIFE aquarium:

Despite the masterplan being shared online months ago, a "Legoland Sichuan Resort Master Plan Unveiling Ceremony" was just held. This Legoland will feature local cultural elements including the first "panda-themed experience zone". Plus, it seems all the Chinese Legolands will have a new area named "Legoland Creative World". Miniland will be located within Legoland Creative World and this Miniland will have displays showcasing landmarks and natural scenery found in Western China. The park is now scheduled to open in October 2023. Originally it was supposed to open in September 2023 so it's pretty much still on track.
