Today I went to Vivo City in Singapore and happened to see the promotion of the park. They announced the opening date and showed everyone the model of the park.
Some of the ride vehicles are also displayed there so if you are in SG now, you can go and check it out before next Monday (April 30).

NUSAJAYA: Asia's first Legoland is set to open for business on Sept 15.

Legoland Malaysia General Manager Siegfried Boerst said the RM700 million theme park on a 76-acre land in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, was 75 per cent complete.

He said that last month, the contractors began work on theming the park, and next month they would begin installing the 50 million Lego bricks and models.

"I'm pleased to announce that due to the hardwork of all our contractors, we will now be opening the park ahead of schedule by a number of months," he told reporters here today.

The hotel will be one year late, at least. Where to stay when visiting Legoland?

Asia's first Legoland Hotel is to open in Malaysia in 2014 next to a theme park dedicated to the popular children's building bricks, the developers said Tuesday.

I'm kinda tempted to purchase the annual pass...

I thought annual pass works 1 year from the day of purchase, in this case, shouldn't it be 1 year from its opening date and perhaps an additional 3 months of validity.

So they told you it would open in the last three months of 2012? When was that?

I thought it will be open earlier ..I've bought the annual pass and they did mention about free extra 3 month entering the park + a whole year in 2013.
