Dubai’s IMG theme park 80% complete and fully funded for completion and opening in early 2016.

“We have completed more than 80 per cent of the project so far from a construction and delivery standpoint. All of our civil works are done and the superstructure is fully enclosed. So the building is technically sealed now,” he said.

He [Lennard Otto] also confirmed that a selection of ticketing options would be launched next month for annual memberships, a fast track system and a VIP option.

As this was posted at the end of December I would expect we see tickets on sale late January/early February.

The Times this week included a pull out section on "The Business of Themed Entertainment" which included a piece on IMG Worlds of Adventure. It covers a lot of other attractions too and I thought it was an interesting read.

Security won't let me anywhere close to the site. What I see though is the IMG building very close to completion. They are stuffing it with coasters and decorations now; only the IMG building however. None of the houses, malls or recreation areas are anywhere near completion.
Also don't see any exits/entries from the freeway that make any sense so that will take a while as well.

@einekleineemail, I always read your posts. You are desperate to recover your investment into your City of Arabia apartment. Please write it off. You will never get your money back. IMG took it, IMG spent it, IMG didn't get it built. Live with it.
