  1. The Morgenall agency is worst I've ever seen. It is not responding to candidate calls from last week. It said IMG team is out of office and there is no polite response. They have taken 20k from each candidate so that candidate will not go anywere and get stuck. Some of the candidates are done with medical so IMG has to do something. I think the earliest plan is to hire when they are ready to open, so hopefully they do best.

  4. Problem is not in delays or setbacks...

    Problem is in a non-existent or amateurish communication, from the website to the social media to the photoshopped pictures to... well almost everything. A few weeks before opening (?), it's truly non understandable why we haven't seen any pictures of the inside, professional renderings (the existing are ugly), regular construction updates, promotional videos, advertisement, innovative social media campaigns etc. There seems to be nobody in charge, even the Twitter feed has been mute for more than a year, after a fine start I must admit. It had potential, but that was a few years ago.

    The park once had a boulevard to itself for being the first major park in Dubai, now it will almost open opposite Dubai Parks & Resorts. Which has a comprehensive website, attends major travel or tourism markets, does some roadshows, invite bloggers on site, has new press releases regularly etc. Clearly it has a vision, which IMG lacks at the moment.

    I hope for a great project though, otherwise it will be an embarrassment for the brands who associated with the park.

  5. IMG is doing the best they can do. No need for negative feed back. Starting a project like this is major and there will be minor setbacks. But one thing is for sure: things are starting to happen. People are getting their contracts and some people have already started working. It is frustrating but this is an opportunity of a lifetime for some people. And I know IMG is going to be a major success. Everybody deserves a chance and once they open all this negativity will be set aside and nobody will even remember it. Big Ups to IMG for doing things nobody even thought was possible.

  6. It is really disappointing to apply in this company where all the staff including the board members are unprofessional. Since 2014 they mentioned already "SOON TO OPEN" and it was delayed for the opening. 2015 another delayed.... Last year they mentioned again soon to open and will open early 2016.. now we are on 2nd quarter of the year.. is this the early 2016? From the very beginning they don't know when it will exactly open.
    How come they have the idea to open the amusement park without proper preparation? They hire people even if the place is still not finished. Even the rides and parking lot are still under construction. They hire people and keep them hoping and waiting for almost half a year. How stupid the management is including Morgenall to hire people without an offer letter.
    How many times they reasoned out that offer letters are not signed yet by the big boss after they said that offer letters are waiting for the approval in Dubai labor due to some changes? How could these people start to hire without any proper planning and preparation? Last Dec and January 2016 they visited different countries to hire people and it was mentioned that IMG will open 1st week of March. How these people can guess when it will be open when this place is not done yet? Ride and parking lot are under construction, menu still planning...
    Morgenall agency is unprofessional. Any candidate who contacted or directly asked IMG to inquire or follow up regarding hiring process? Sad to say but Morgenall will remove you from the list of candidates who have been selected Is this the fair and professional way? Is Mr. Lennard Otto aware about what is going on in this company? Are Mustafa and Galadari aware of what is happening now and what the management are doing to all candidates from different countries? Is this really professional and standard?

I know someone who works on the project as well, heard they had lost a lot of management and people over the past several years due to massive delays, unrealistic target dates, and poor management of the staff and project. They said people were flocking to other projects like DPR and the likes, and the word 'disillusionment' seemed prominent among those who worked there.

    I sure hope it works out in the end, they have come so far and yet still seem so empty handed. Surely all the money poured into this project will amount to something someday.

  8. I hope they get these comments and make it well for public and staff and even if I lose the opportunity for the job and my current job for believing on their word. And the contract they have with morgeall conslunts also the same way they treat. These type of works gonna lose the staff hope.

    Maybe they will do best very soon, a big hope. All the best.

    Sorry Anonymous, they don't. They said they will know the opening date "soon" but they are pretty lost too. I would just keep calling the HR department, if you annoy them they will either sort it out or you will lose the job but at least you will know!

I was offered a position in January with them, have sent off all documents and have not been contacted regarding it for many weeks now. I've declined other offers because I'm waiting for them. It's becoming pathetic now waiting this long. Soon I wouldn't want to go anymore.
