    ORIA, an architecture company based in Shanghai, has been commissioned to design the main entrance and exterior of the flying theater ride for Hangzhou Bay Sunac Cultural Tourism City's theme park, which of course was originally going to be Six Flags. The flying theater was not planned for Six Flags but has since been added to the design. The theme is now science fiction/futuristic.

    It's a busy time right now at the waterpark - lots of landscaping is going in, supports for the water coaster are being installed, and waterslides continue to test!





























    Meanwhile at the adjacent theme park not much is happening yet but hopefully that will change next year...

    Waterslide testing has begun!









    This is the current schedule for the waterpark, which is expected to open by the end of June 2021:

    October 15, 2020 - First batch of waterslides to be tested and pass inspection
    December 30, 2020 - Installation of water coaster completed
    March 1, 2021 - Lazy river completed
    March 30, 2021 - Theming completed
    March 30, 2021 - Wave pool completed
    March 30, 2021 - Installation of all waterslides completed
    April 15, 2021 - Landscaping completed
