New planning images released by the local government for Hangzhou Bay Sunac Cultural Tourism City's theme park, which was originally designed to be Six Flags. Many rides remain from the Six Flags design but some have been removed/replaced. The theme park itself now mainly has a futuristic design. A few major changes to note include:
- 4D Free Spin Coaster replaced by flying theater
- Mine train coaster replaced by go-karting track
- Garfield dark ride replaced by a "giant mecha show"
- Wooden coaster removed

Zhejiang Development lies adjacent to a new Theme Park, complementing this atmosphere of Amusement and Entertainment. Tying the various Districts together and moving visitors from the Parking to the Theme Park, we created what we call “The Ring”. This innovative Design Feature heightens the pedestrian experience into another Attraction within the entire complex. Patrons move via walking, moving sidewalks, and overhead transportation pods through a variety of worlds, beginning from the parking at the Family Fun Station, through Space Exploration, EarthWalk, Shopping Street, Cultural Zone, and Undersea Adventure.

Like pearls on a necklace, “The Ring” ties the various Districts into a comprehensive World unto itself. From the Entertainment Center, Shopping Arcade, Aquarium, Cultural Center and Performance Hall, toward Living and Hospitality layered above complete this total experience. We approached this design as a destination that lives every day, throughout the year, catering to the visitors and locals alike, revolutionizing the Amusement Park into an Authentic Entertainment City of the 21st Century.
