In April 2019 Six Flags/Riverside Group submitted to the Haiyan government a detailed layout plus concept art of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor (and the adjacent Six Flags theme park): https://www.themeparx.com/hangzhou-bay-sunac-tourism-city/?p=14715#post14715

Now, Sunac has resubmitted plans to the government showing a slightly updated design to the waterpark. The layout of the theme park is identical because it is probably just placeholder until Sunac finalizes the design of the theme park. The two main differences between the design of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and now Sunac Water Park are the wave pool stage which was located on the side has been moved to the middle replacing the lighthouse and a four-person family raft slide planned near the entrance is removed with nothing in its place.

Here's the latest progress on the theme park's ferris wheel and the view from the top:

The waterpark, scheduled to open on June 26, 2021, is progressing quickly with rides and the wave pool testing:

Sunac is planning to open the adjacent theme park by the end of 2022 and just this week work resumed on the first ride - a ferris wheel:

I say worked resumed because back in 2018 the foundation of the ferris wheel had already been built, as seen here: https://www.themeparx.com/hangzhou-bay-sunac-tourism-city/?p=13868#post13868

Lastly, the indoor snow park which was not part of the Six Flags plans but is part of Sunac's new plans is scheduled to begin construction in September 2021.
