I was told that they are still waiting for spare parts shipments to arrive from all over the world. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic there have been shipment delays. If that’s really the issue, not entirely sure why Genting still proceeded with the “soft opening”.

But also maybe they are using this period to test out their current operation SOP effectiveness before the grand opening.

One of the popular rides right now during school holidays & weekends is the Terraform Tower Challenge. The waiting time could go up to 90 minutes or more.

Sadly, RWG has also confirmed the rooms are not themed with any IPs related to the park, despite being rebranded as "Genting SkyWorlds Hotel".
