Newly released concept art showing some earlier designs for Genting SkyWorlds:

First, Wings Over Rio, a ride that was designed at one point to be a boat ride (https://www.irms.com.sg/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Genting-Outdoor-Theme-Park9.jpg) but also an Inverted Powered Coaster by Mack Rides:



The ride building for Wings Over Rio is sitting empty so this can still get built eventually.



It looks like the Swing Thing by JR Automation (Setpoint) was at one point considered for the Epic area instead of the Rio area:

Design for a show at the park from back in the 20th Century Fox World days...

A Scrat-acular Journey is a narrative-driven water spectacular that with the use of Drones, Animatronics, Pyrotechnics and Lighting, showcases 12 of the FOX IPs. The show introduces the culture of Western films to the Malaysian demographic in an exciting and comedic way.

Starting at 0:13 you can hear the hissing noises due to the hydraulics coming from the animatronics. I'm slightly disappointed with how the ride turned out - the hydraulic noises definitely made the experience feels cheap/tacky in my personal opinion for a ride tied to a huge IP.

Budget cut maybe?...

Nevertheless, still amazed at how smooth the ride vehicle by Oceaneering though
