My friend and I finally got some time to swing by MK this past weekend(we're busy grad students). Here are some shots from the Fantasyland refurb. A big thanks to my buddy who took all of the over the fence pictures as I am too short to hold the camera over it. We'll see if we can get some better shots next time with a digital camera... we couldn't quite position the camera over the fence, but my cell phone's digital camera notched perfectly over the top of the fence. I'll let my friend point out the specific landmarks in certain pictures his post following mine.

A few words about Fantasyland expansion coming from Disney Parks chairman Tom Staggs:
Source:•Back on dry land now, on the Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom, which he says is on schedule.
"Every time I go down there or spend time with the Imagineers, I get more excited about the project. … Fantasyland is going to be more immersive than before; it's going to be more of a complete experience. I think it's going to be something that really delights our guests.
"We know this is a daunting challenge because Fantasyland is hugely popular. So reinventing Fantasyland, we have to take very seriously. I'm feeling very good about having preserved all that made Fantasyland so great and charming and also broadening and expanding it. So over the next couple of years you'll see it roll out a piece at a time."
•On when "new" Fantasyland will be complete:
"There is one [final] element that will be in '14."
