Disney officials told the Orlando Sentinel Thursday that they've listened to feedback from guests who've said they'd like the option of being served beer or wine with dinner. The restaurant will open in November as part of the Fantasyland expansion.
It's the first time in the Magic Kingdom's 41-year history that the park will serve beer and wine. The park has been dry since opening in 1971, a policy believed to reflect Walt Disney’s decision to keep Disneyland mostly alcohol-free.

Source:Walt Disney Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger told analysts last week that "the bulk of our capital investment" in the $425 million project in the Magic Kingdom will be made by the end of the company's fiscal year, which wraps up around Sept. 30.
That's about a month before the Nov. 19 start of previews for the project's biggest phase, which includes a Little Mermaid ride and a Beauty and the Beast restaurant. The grand opening of that part of "New Fantasyland" will be Dec. 6. Disney is stretching the remainder of the project over two years: It will add a new princess meet-and-greet location in 2013, and a Snow White-themed family roller coaster in 2014.

New Fantasyland expansion preview
@Fantasyfan - no!
Source:The largest expansion in the history of the Walt Disney World Resort won't be completely open until 2014 when the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is finished. Sometime in 2013, a huge meet-and-greet for Disney Princesses will open with Princess Fairytale Hall where the old "Snow White's Scary Adventures" attraction used to be.
