New Director appointed and an expansion planned already!

It should be noted that Europa-Park is already planning on an upcoming expansion of its Rulantica water park (see below). The plan includes the seventh thematic hotel on the site, an expanded indoor and outdoor area for the water park, and a monorail linking Europa-Park to Rulantica .

Michael Kreft von Byern , President and CEO of Europa-Park, has been appointed Director of Rulantica , the new water park on the site, with immediate effect.

Already during the planning phase, Michael Kreft von Byern played a decisive role in the development. In addition, he has analyzed numerous water parks around the world and advised the Mack family , owner, on important decisions. Many ideas bear his signature.

Michael Kreft von Byern has held various management positions for Europa-Park for more than 30 years. In 1988, he started as a press attaché, became spokesperson, marketing director, park manager, head of design & development at Europa-Park , Mack Solutions . He also works as a lecturer in various universities.
