While in the area we decided to stop at Riverland to see if there has been any noticeable progress on the expansion. Riverland is currently open to everyone, and are taking the necessary precautions in regards to COVID-19. Signs are located around Riverland and temperature screenings take place upon entry. They are open until 7:00PM, however please keep in mind all shops and restaurants are currently closed.

In the parking lot, you are able to get an excellent view of the new GCI coaster being built. I can confirm this new coaster is being added to Bollywood Parks. Unfortunately, while walking next to Motiongate we were unable to see any sight of the new rides being built.

As for the Legoland Hotel, from where we were there was no noticeable construction on the outside of the hotel, which most likely means they are focusing on the interior as they are planned to open this November.

Everything is looking very exciting so far! We can't wait to see how everything turns out upon the parks reopening.

Hi! I'm a former worker from DPR; and I can confirm to you guys that the expansion will happen in the Lionsgate area, between the Hollywood Theatre and the Hunger Games coaster there is a garden that's going to be converted into pathways that lead to the new attraction.

Also, for the Now You See Me ride I have been told that they're going to build a fake theatre that leads into the shows of the magicians. Pretty cool!

Can't wait to see these completed.

Yes it has - in a way. See post #501

Unfortunately no official announcements have been made yet regarding the specifics of the new rides they are building. However, we do know that many of these rides will be coming from the scrapped Six Flags Dubai project. They will be reusing the ride designs, and some of which we have been told are record breaking attractions.

People have speculated that the Motiongate Dubai expansion will occur in the Lionsgate section. Although from what I've heard this has not been confirmed as well.
