Yes you're correct CarlySX. They also mention that their social media managers are employed by a contractor company, and that it is that company who is not paying their employees.
They also want to stress that even though Coronavirus is hitting the economy pretty hard right now, they keep paying their ~ 1000 FTE (and that they are working remotely at the moment)

It seems that Dream Island are unhappy that they are being slandered in the media for "unpaid bills" - this statement seems to indicate they believe they are being blackmailed by companies they have paid in return for not getting negative press. It all seems very odd.

HC "Island of Dreams" states that information about the lack of payments to contractors for the construction of the park, distributed in the media and social networks, is false. Dreams Island fulfilled all obligations for payments to general contractors on time according to concluded agreements with counterparties. Therefore, videos with subcontractor organizations' appeals distributed in telegram channels should not be addressed to the “Island of Dreams”, but to the management of the companies in whose staff these employees are registered.

Any unfounded accusations against the company “Island of Dreams” that are not supported by any supporting documents are groundless attempts by competitors to discredit the company in a public field.
Boris Pishchik, General Director of the Dream Island theme park: "Since the opening of the park, we have been witnessing the spread of knowingly false information about the project in order to undermine the company's reputation. We have to deal with a lot of negative comments addressed to us, which are not only untrue, but often are third-party orders.
It sounds like perhaps some of the contractors were not paid by the companies they worked for but are blaming Dream Island for none payment rather than their employers. Perhaps someone who reads Russian could translate better than google?

More coaster testing from today: https://streamable.com/svos0d

Also, the park recently responded to a commenter on Russian social media asking about the status of the rides that have yet to open - in summary, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles launch coaster is almost ready, installation of the Hotel Transylvania dark is underway and all its decorations and technical equipment were delivered before quarantine, and lastly regarding the flying theater, installation of the screen has been suspended for the time being because it has to be carried out under the supervision of the foreign manufactuer, which is unable to travel to Russia.

Exploring Moscow's new theme park Dream Island on its opening day as a guest for the media event, I got to know a couple of Russian words pretty well: Скоро открытие.

Translated, it means "opening soon." The Intamin launched coaster that bursts out of the walls of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed New York section? Скоро открытие. Dinosaur-themed flying theatre? Скоро открытие. Hotel Transylvania ride housed in a massive, imposing show building? Скоро открытие. Snow Queen 3D show in the park's centrepiece frozen castle? Yep, you guessed it.

But while Dream Island might lack the nuance or imaginative detail of a Disney or Universal, it's a clear step above many of the knock-off parks we've seen in the emerging Asian markets.

And crucially, this is a significant theme park for a market that currently didn't have one. A market where, for most people who are likely to visit, a "Disneyland" isn't a specific property owned by one company, but a catch-all term for the kind of designed space they've seen the world over but had little chance to experience themselves. A disneyland, rather than a Disneyland, if you will.
