There has been some news regarding funding which seems to have put the project back on track.

VTB Bank opened a credit line for "Dream Island" holding company in the amount of 37 billion rubles for a period of 7 years. The funds will be spent on the construction of the first stage of the "Dream Island" park, which includes an indoor theme park, an urban promenade with a shopping and entertainment area and a landscape park. The total cost of the first stage of the project is 81 billion rubles. It includes the value of the land plot and the amount of investments in the amount of 43 billion rubles (including 37 billion rubles of VTB), intended for construction, acquisition of rides and working capital.

The main construction works of the indoor part of the park are planned to be completed by the end of 2018, the interior decoration and landscaping will be finished in the middle of 2019.

There were some delays caused by lack of funding. The park will now open in 2019 instead.

There is some movement on site again.

Bank credit issues. Construction came to a halt for a while.

Not much construction progress as of recent:

Island of Dreams have released this press release about their food offerings, cafes and restaurants.

Among the establishments there is a two-storeyed central restaurant "Island of dreams", a cafe-bakery "Sweets from Smurfetta", a frost-yogurt bar "Tropicana", a restaurant with favorite dishes of turtle-ninja, a food court "Smurfna vata" in "Smurfs' Village" Italian restaurant, as well as the restaurant "Crystal Heart". There will also be mobile food courts.

Asian cuisine will be offered in the "Lost World of Dinosaurs" zone, and a large assortment of desserts is in the Hello Kitty cafe. In addition, the main restaurant will host culinary shows and master classes of famous chefs.

The park has confirmed that they will build one Launch Coaster from Intamin called "Dark Ride Coaster", which will feature 2 inversions. The coaster will be 24m high, 80km/h fast and 557m long.
