The location of this movie based park is not Shanghai, as mentioned in the fact sheet of this thread, but Hengdian - the biggest movie production location in China. The park has a clever design, as video productions for movies will take place at the same time as visitors will get around that park to experience different attractions. We filmed that location for Legacy Entertainment end of October with our drone. So you can see the result here:

New construction tenders reveal details about Shanghai Bund:

Attractions to be included are "film and television drop tower" (4,132 square meters), "Movie Film Roller Coaster" (??5,894 square meters), "Gangster Chase Dark Ride" (6,370 square meters), "Hengdian Adventure Tour robotic arm" (6,515 square meters), Disaster Experience Theater (3,348 square meters), "Movie Secrets Museum" (2,100 square meters)

According to the construction tender, Shanghai Bund will be completed before December 30, 2020.

It's been a while since the last update on this and I'm happy to share today that this project is definitely not dead, in fact, a new tender for this park was just approved for bidding this morning: http://www.bidcenter.com.cn/wtnews-54080605.html

This tender specifically is for the installation of fire protection (such as fire hydrants, a fire alarm system, and a fire sprinkler system) in buildings at the park.

In Hengdian, China, construction is progressing on the GGE-designed recreation of SHANGHAI BUND. While its primary function will be as a film and television production studio, worked into the facilities will be a number of shows and dark rides to satisfy tourists eager to go behind the scenes of China's growing entertainment industry.
