Today, August 17, Hengdian World Studios celebrated the start of trial operations for "Dream Bund of Hengdian World Studios"













Right now guests can see shows, explore the streets by foot or electric streetcar, and visit shops and exhibits

Phase 1 of Shanghai Bund will be opening on August 17, 2019!

Beyond the turnstiles guests will walk under a large media canopy:



Guests can ride around the park on an electric streetcar:





At the Maritime Foreign Goods Museum, guests will learn about the history of old Shanghai as it transitions from “local fishing village” to “international city”:





Gift shop selling old Shanghai-themed products and Hengdian Studios-branded merchandise.



Besides the outdoor electric streetcar, the park will have indoor rides, including a roller coaster, which will begin to open "around Spring Festival" in 2020 and through the next "two to three years":

The electric streetcar has been successfully tested with 50 passengers and should be officially soft opening next month.
