From what I understand the gap in spending is because of a combination of leftover money for blowouts/theming gaps and also for a revitalisation of the current areas of WDS, Disneyland Paris only recently had project stardust and it doesn’t really have much in the way of theming gaps/expansion pads.
Disney needs to convert Paris into a multi day resort otherwise the individual quality of Disneyland won’t do much to help the resort (see Hong Kong after its first expansion as it still lacks anything to do besides the park itself). I’ve also heard they are thinking of using some money on downtown Disney but that is just a rumour at this point
So I heard that the overall expansion only uses around 1.5 billion euros of the 2 billion and I’ve also heard that the overall expansions will be finished by 2030 does this mean there could be some new rides for magic kingdom? What are your thoughts?

Some Internet users are convinced that the French park anticipates a potential third wave and therefore a third confinement.

I believe that the lake show will be a mix of world of colour and illumiNations as in the concept art there is a small lake near the frozen land possibly storing themed floats and then the lake would have to be deep enough for the floats to go over and the pyrotechnics to rise up! I think Disney will be thinking about using fireworks and fountains to make the show more colourful and it is very likely that there will be projections from the mist! Quick question does any one know anything else about the show and when the show will debut?
Route 66 has been postponed until 2021, and it will have the Dinoco Truck in Catastrophe Canyon as it has already the colour scheme for it on the watertower. Studio D has been constructed and will not open in 2020 and is as well postponed until 2021.
So far Avangers is still on schedule to open in 2021 with Hotel New York: Art of Marvel in Q2 2021. However I don't believe that DLP will open any major new attraction or hotel unless they can have full press coverage for it. As we have seen with Ratatouille in EPCOT, the ride is finished but they are waiting for the right moment to actually open it with the best media coverage for it.
It is rumoured that the full price tag announced for the expansion also includes an expansion for Disneyland Parc, most likely Mickey and Minnie's run away railway at the former Beauty and the Beast location. But there is no evidence thus far that supports this. Or the rumoured expansion at Indy.
We had this conversation back in July if you want to go back and re-read it. General opinion is that Alien Swirling Saucers was included in the artwork but was never actually announced as part of the build and will not be included.
Do you have a source for "not all the 2 billion euros have been spent"? - I don't know where that figure has come from? Believe me, right now they will be holding back whatever spending they can and not seeing how fast they can get through that money. I think there is already confirmation that Cars Route 66 will not open as planned (anyone confirm this?) so the chances of them adding in new things at this point is extremely unlikely.
I believe there will be an expansion to you story land, specifically alien swirling saucers as the new building looks very similar and is adjacent to story land. This would make sense as not all the 2 billion euros have been spent on the Frozen, Marvel and Star Wars area.
