CITIC Group has renamed this project to CITIC Golden Bay Resort. Also, CITIC announced that the Mars World pavilion is expected to open in 2024.

Kaisa Group is having financial issues so Kaisa Golden Bay Resort and Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay are both being sold with valuations of 10.6 billion yuan and 1.4 billion yuan, respectively.

Construction will be starting soon on Kaisa Golden Bay Resort's fourth hotel. This one will operate under two brands - InterContinental and Hotel Indigo, both of which are part of IHG Hotels & Resorts:

The building is about 5000 square meters and has two levels:





First guests enter the pavilion here:



Then they board the "spacecraft", which in reality is a Sky Tower by Huss Park Attractions. This I believe will be the first installation of the ride to feature the "Explorer" which is a screen-based experience at the base of the tower:



After the Sky Tower, guests have the opportunity to do weightless training:

Lastly is something called "Mystery of the Red Rock" in which a rock taken from Mars is teleported back to Earth and it looks like something goes awry:
