A new video shows some footage of the upcoming Chimelong Marine Science Park and circus venue which is apparently now named "The Chimelong Theatre" (长隆剧院). Screenshots from the video below:
Here's the view from the observation deck or whatever that top area towards the front of the new park ends up being:
This great photo shows three ongoing developments all at different stages - obviously the focus is The Chimelong Theatre which should be opening very soon, behind that you can see that scaffolding is finally starting to come down on the light rail station and in front of that just to the left of the new theatre is one of the gondola lift stations which is set to open in 2020:
Here's a sneak peek at the inside of The Chimelong Theatre:
Last but not least here's what Chimelong Ocean Kingdom will look like from Chimelong Marine Science Park:

POMA officially announced that they will be supplying the new gondola lift system coming to Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort. The gondola order which is valued at 100 million euros is already under construction and is scheduled to open in 2020. The route of the first phase of this transportation system is in the shape of a triangle with a station at each point. The main station will be located adjacent to the currently under construction circus venue and two stations will be located at the top of Hengqin Island's mountain range. Eventually another station will be at Chimelong Marine Science Park but that is not going to be built yet.
The two renderings above show the gondola lift right after the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom station.
Chimelong Group wanted to focus on innovation—illustrated with the station’s design and the choice of tri-cable technology—guaranteeing significant wind stability (up to 90 km/h) and a maximum transport capacity of 5,775 people per hour with long operating hours. The Carrier design is also strategic to ensure park popularity so the Symphony 32 cabins designed by Pininfarina were the obvious choice. The cabins are very comfortable and equipped with large bay windows to fully appreciate the bird’s eye view of Macao Bay. In addition, they are also equipped with LED strips that will light up the sky at dusk.
Each cabin can hold 32 people and the length of the system is 4,539 km. Construction has already gone vertical on the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom station next to the new theater.

Let's take an in depth look inside Chimelong's next theme park, the first of which to be indoors. The park's official name is potentially Chimelong Marine Science Park (长隆海洋科学乐园).
Earlier this week 300 construction industry professionals visited the construction site - in this first photo they are seen standing at the bottom of what will be the main killer whale tank
The theme park will be divided into two main levels. Guests will enter on the lower level:
On the way to the park's main attraction, the orcas, guests will pass by many marine animal exhibits including species native to the waters of Hengqin Island and rare Yangtze finless porpoises.
The killer whale exhibit is composed of eight tanks - the surface of the tanks is on the upper level. The main tank is the largest and also acts as the show pool. Large underwater viewing windows will surround the main tank which also has a wave machine. Guests will be able to walk between the main tank and the back tanks by walking under the smaller tanks which are as not as deep. An additional underwater viewing window will be at one of the back pools.
Beyond the killer whale exhibit on the lower level will be additional marine animal exhibits including cichlids and dugongs.
The upper level of the park will include the 5000 seat killer whale stadium and six flat rides, as shown in the layout below
Chimelong Marine Science Park will take some of Chimelong Ocean Kingdom's world records including largest acrylic panel at 46.48 meters by 8.5 meters (current is 39.6 meters by 8.3 meters) which will in turn will also take Chimelong Ocean Kingdom's record for largest aquarium window.
