Never-before-seen but potentially outdated concept art:

Chimelong Qingyuan Forest Resort will have four major hotels: Giraffe Hotel, Elephant Hotel, Zebra Hotel, and Rhino Hotel. I already shared a rendering of Zebra Hotel back in 2018 here: https://www.themeparx.com/chimelong-qingyuan-forest-resort/?p=11704#post11704

Now China Metallurgical Group Corporation, one of the construction companies that will be building the park, has released renderings of the other hotels. The building with lions might be what was the Rhino Hotel now re-themed to lions or maybe it’s a lion-themed conference center attached to one of the hotels.

On February 5, Zhu Jianguo, a Party Committee Secretary and General Manager of MCC Central Research Institute of Building and Construction Co., Ltd., visited Chimelong Group's headquarters to discuss the progress of Chimelong Qingyuan Forest Resort, in which China Metallurgical Group Corporation will work on the project with Chimelong.

Earlier this week Yin Zhaoju, Secretary of the Qingyuan Municipal Party Committee, visited the project's site for inspection. He reiterated both the importance of this project and the importance of construction restarting as soon as possible.

Yesterday, Su Zhigang, Founder and Chairman of Chimelong Group and Gong Liangqing, President of Chimelong Group, met with Yin Zhaoju, Secretary of the Qingyuan Municipal Party Committee to discuss the acceleration of the project's progress.

The Qingyuan government will "continue to work hard to fully support and promote the planning and construction of the project, speed up the construction of supporting facilities such as rail transit, water supply pipe network, and municipal roads around the project, and actively strive for policy resource support. It is hoped that Chimelong Group will further improve the project planning, accelerate the construction speed, and start operations as soon as possible in accordance with the consensus reached by both parties."

Chimelong Group stated that they are committed to this project long term.
