Any word on current project status? Apparently the resort is having some serious problems, and I heard that it might have been cancelled?

There's a new train line slated for opening alongside the resort.

According to the plan, the green line from the Guangqing Industrial Park in the northeast, followed by the Merrill Lynch Lake, Silver Light characteristics of the town, Changlong Forest Resort theme park, to Changlong South China tiger provenance base.

The project will be built in two phases, the initial realization of Guangqing inter-city silver station and Changlong theme park connectivity, later through the east and west to extend the two directions. The initial project line is 8.55 kilometers long, with 3 stops. Respectively, silver lamp, long Avenue, long theme park.

I was able to finally find a somewhat high resolution layout of not the entire resort area but of the main theme park that's currently under construction. This layout is from 2015 so the actual layout could be different than what is shown above.

The main theme park itself which had its groundbreaking ceremony back in December 2016 will cost about $1.5 billion USD

The Goddard Group are out in China working on the Forest Resort.

Exciting things are underway at Chimelong where an A-team of Goddard Group designers are hard at work on the upcoming FOREST KINGDOM theme park!
