    A new Parachute Tower-type ride is being constructed at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom's 'Amazing Amazon' area of the park. It appears to be nearing completion...

    The ride looks very similar to Intamin's Toy Soldier Parachute Drop ride at Hong Kong Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Park (https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/attractions/toy-soldier-parachute-drop/ and http://www.disneylandparis.com/en-us/attractions/walt-disney-studios-park/toy-soldiers-parachute-drop/)

    Chimelong Ocean Kingdom recently received a new species of dolphin (in addition to fur seals and otters) called the Chinese White Dolphin which is a variety of the Indo Pacific Humpbacked Dolphin. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom originally planned on housing this dolphin species when the park was originally being constructed (Source: Blooloop)

    Haw Par said that UWS had to vacate the facility and cease operations as the lease on the Sentosa attraction was expiring in less than two years. Its pink dolphins, fur seals and otters have been transferred to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai, China.

    Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has "one of the finest facilities in the world and a strong staff with expertise in marine mammal veterinary and husbandry care, as well as an active breeding and conservation programme", said Haw Par.

  5. http://macaubusinessdaily.com/Society/Hengqin%E2%80%99s-Chimelong-resort-attracts-500000-10-days:

    The Chimelong International Ocean Resort on Hengqin Island drew in about 500,000 visitors during its first 10 days in business. The developer, Guangdong Chimelong Group Co Ltd, said the Lunar New Year holidays had boosted the number of visitors.
    Seriously? Is this an artificially inflated number, maybe? 500k visitors in 10 days would add up to 18 million visitors per year
    --> more than Disneyland?!

    Posted 30 January 2014 on Macau Business Daily:

    Hengqin Island has been designated a special economic zone by the mainland authorities, and has been widely touted as a complementary family holiday destination to Macau – without the daily distraction of casinos. But Hengqin is handily connected to Macau via the Lotus Bridge immigration checkpoint for those that want some gambling on the side.

    On Tuesday the first stage of that Macau-Hengqin, two-centre, approach to leisure began with the soft opening of Chimelong International Ocean Resort on Hengqin.

    This confirms:
    a) that Chimelong Ocean Kingdom theme park has opened
    b) that non-Chinese visitors need a visa to visit
