The steel structure for what will be the front glass atrium is now complete
New concept art - oddly it seems that they decided to not build the pedestrian bridge from inside Chimelong Ocean Kingdom to the new park

Brand new photos of Chimelong Marine Science Museum (the steel structure is nearly 80% complete) and a photo pointing straight up at the under construction 26 floor hotel that's attached to the back. Chimelong is still aiming for this to be completed in the second half of the year with an opening during the summer (which would mean July, August, or beginning of September) but I think a completion at some point in 2020 is more realistic.

Construction is rapidly progressing on Chimelong Marine Science Museum
Down the street construction continues on the new Hengqin Island Theater and the light rail station. No plans have been announced for the large plot of land in the foreground. Recently it was used for a music festival.

Brand new photo showing the progress of Chimelong Marine Science Museum's steel structure being constructed. In addition to work taking place on the steel structure, the large acrylic glass panels for the main underwater viewing window have begun to arrive from Japan and be hoisted into place. Once the underwater viewing window is complete it will break two Guinness World Records with a total length of 46.2 meters and a height of 8.2 meters (the equivalent of two side by side IMAX screens).
