With regards to the question which rides I actually rode, I tried Lagan, where you basically sit on a platform similar to those 4D boxes you have in fairs and e.g. Time Square Mall on Sheikh Zayed Road. You are supposedly a cricket ball on a roller coaster and move being bashed around with robotic characters who represent the main character, that is the best way to describe the ride.
I then went on another 3D attraction that moves from screen to screen, very unimpressed because there was no thrill or enjoyment again, lost in the storyline. Then waited in line for another 4D theater, there might have been 15 people with me in the queue. I stood for 30mins and I walked out because it just wasn't moving. The other 3-4 rides were temporarily closed. I can't review them, but I heard that they are also 3D/4D rides.
It wasn't just me also who commented in regards to their experience, I was talking with another group of a local and and Indian gentleman while waiting for that 4D theater, they mentioned that this was their first and last time. Why pay money to experience this park when I can pay 30 AED and watch an Indian movie, I came to have fun not to watch shows.
They had good souvenir shops with nice products.
In regards to the comment that mentioned teething problems, I completely understand. This is why I didn't mention any review on the staff or ride breakdowns, I clearly reviewed the ride qualities, the smell, high crazy charges for low quality food, overall price.
Riverland was nice, I think the French area was the most beautiful, I loved the atmosphere. That was probably my favorite.
Experience it for yourself. Everyone has different preferences but for me, my family, and the couple of people around me: no one enjoyed it.
