Disney's Bob Iger talks about Avatar Land...

Bob Iger told analysts that the Avatar land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has “an extremely unique design and architecture. It really does make you feel you’re in Pandora.”

The area will be “the biggest new land we’ve opened in Florida in a very long time,” he said. “I think that’s good for the whole business down there.”

A new site was launched to give us a glimpse of what to expect in Pandora that's set to open on May 27, 2017.

This winged predator is one of the most important and culturally significant animals to the Na’vi. Flying on a banshee is an important rite-of-passage for the Na’vi and now, you will get the chance to test yourself. Soaring through ancient stone arches, under floating mountains and over the lush landscape, this expedition is an experience like no other.

Climb aboard a reed boat and soon you’ll see that on the sacred Kaspavan River, every moment tells a story, and every bend sings a song. This expedition into the rainforest deep within the Valley of Mo’ara will take you right into the middle of Pandora and Na’vi culture. Traveling into the darkest part of the forest, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a canopy of exotic glowing plants and amazing animals on the move. Listen closely and you’ll hear the Na’vi Shaman of Songs as she fills the forest with beautiful music about the sacred bond between nature and ourselves.

The Valley of Mo’ara is where your discovery and exploration of Pandora begins. It’s where the land is an adventure unto itself. Where you don’t climb over mountains—you hike under them. It’s where the night sky comes alive with a bioluminescent glow. It’s where you’ll experience the start of a jaw-dropping, “I’ll-be-talking-about-it-for-years” type of adventure.

There are trees are being planted to cover the backstage area of Avatar Land. The view from the park hasn't changed much recently and looks like smaller clean up jobs are now ongoing.

Might be a photo shoot. New promo video?
