James Cameron is going to be presenting at D23. If anyone is attending please can you update us as soon as you hear anything new?

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard any new information regarding Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Pandora: The World of AVATAR. Hopefully that’s about to change because James Cameron has been added to the list of talents presenting at D23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures. This official D23 fan club event will take place November 19-20, 2016 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

During the Pandora presentation, James Cameron (writer, director, producer of AVATAR) and Jon Landeau (producer of AVATAR) will join Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde to unveil new details about the 12-acre land slated to open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2017.

This was an art installation that was set up at my city hall. It was created by a collective from France - I believe - called scenocosme. The piece is called Akousmaflore and is described as sensitive and interactive musical performance plants. When users brushed their hands through the foliage it triggered an audio response. The technology explained was...and this is layman's terms...sensors that read the the conductive energy created when your body completed a circuit with components of the plant. Kind of like your body was a plug and the plant was an outlet.

Here is an update from the end of June however which I know is genuine.
