There are a lot of photos on this page showing multiple Disney World changes since the summer season. Most interesting I thought was the view of the Pandora floating mountains visible from above.

Two rides are planned for Pandora. A Soarin' style "E ticket" ride called "AVATAR Flight of Passage", and a boat trip through Pandora called Na'Vi River Journey, but there are rumours the latter won't open on time. Seems to be far more about experiencing the world than straight up attractions.

Do I have this right? Avatar Land will be one single major movie-based attraction, and the rest will be restaurants and merchandise?

Disney's Animal Kingdom: Avatar Land has revealed more info about the new attraction Na'Vi River Journey:

The Na'Vi River Journey will put theme-park guests in canoes that travel via river through a bioluminescent rain forest.

he attraction ends with an encounter with a Na’vi shaman, "who has a deep connection to the life force of Pandora and sends positive energy out into the forest through her music," according to the official Disney Parks Blog.

Na'Vi River Journey will open as part of Pandora in 2017.
