Masterplan by The Producers Group:

Construction has been put on hold by the government since the project was anounced by the other administration (2017). They did the recording for the flying theater and the underwater simulator but nobody knows if they will be given the green light at least in the next 4 years.
I found some additional artwork for the park and info on expected rides and attractions but nothing recent about construction - does anyone know if construction is still ongoing? I fear this park may no longer be going ahead...
This will be the area with the most extreme equipment in the park, will contain a Vekoma roller coaster with inversions, which will be 35.5 meters high and reach a speed of 100 km / h during its launch. We will also have a Mack Rides Water Coaster and a Huss top spin in the best Phantasialand style in Germany, but adapted to the Amikoo theme.
The main attraction will be a state-of-the-art dark ride, which uses the technology seen in the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey attraction in Orlando. Visitors sit in large arms, with capacity for 4 people, who move through trails and place in front of several screens and interactive elements.

Is this project now just put on hold or what?
Any updates regarding the beginning of the construction?
The construction stage is approaching as recently the theme park obtained all permits from the government and are in full compliance with environmental requirements. According to the developers, "forest recovery has been carried out successfully and in compliance with the Mexican government regulations."

This week at the 2018 IAAPA Expo in Orlando the WhiteWater booth is displaying a very detailed scale model of the "Maya Extreme" area of the theme park which includes a river rapids ride and a flume ride:
Though the theme park's construction status is still in standby this project is far from canceled and the plan is for the first part to open in 2021.
