Closer shots of the lazy river construction. Lots of roof pieces are now in place too on buildings.

They have been ride testing these slides this week. Beach theming around the outside now installed and water in place.

  7. Volcano Bay are now hiring for over 1,700 new employees for the park ready for opening.

You can see the new roles on this link http://www.universalorlandojobs.com/job-search-results/?keyword=volcano%20bay

  8. Universal Orlando Resort has begun work on providing direct access to its new water park, Volcano Bay.
The theme park giant pulled a construction permit for "[Project] 467 Bus Drop Off Canopy" that is part of a new bus/tram system Universal has been working on since last January. The tram is designed to connect the theme park's parking garages to a drop-off point across from Volcano Bay via a small roadway that runs alongside Interstate 4.
The permit for the work, valued at $1.4 million, is for a "new transportation terminal that includes a weather canopy, pedestrian ramps with retaining walls, power and lighting, and plumbing." There's no designated timeline mentioned in the permit, but it would make sense for the tram to be fully operational by this summer when Volcano Bay is expected to debut.
